Synopsis: The team digs out from an earthquake and scouts for the cause. Jonah is placed in the morgue to be quarantined. A mysterious plague continues to infect the crew with murderous rage. Jonah tells Caroline about Grendel training. The scouting party becomes trapped at a waste dump. When they are rescued, they have all been infected. Jonah dreams of a genocide he participated in as a Grendel and wakes to find himself being attacked by the infected scout party.
