For centuries, the Ar Ze people (half-orc, half-human) have lived in the Green Lands (Grunland) with the sole purpose of surveilling the Mountain. The evil the Mountain keeps is so terrible, and the magic to fight it is so powerful, that writing is forbidden to this power can never be passed on to outsiders. But memory is betrayal and with the passing of the years, the Ar Ze become a people who ignore their origins and the reasons for their tasks. Their magic is weaker now, and only the shamans know of it. Somehow, creatures called Erictos have avoided the Ar Ze's surveillance and have left their Mountain haven to bring terror and death to the small towns below it with the Estgian Whisper, a spell that brings the dead back to life as slaves of Evil! The situation worsens when the two most powerful empires outside Grunland, the Romans and the Japanese, arrive on their shores!
