The radio show featured Maurice Tarplin as the title character and narrator (illustrated by Ditko in trenchcoat and fedora, presaging his later creations The question and Mr. A). The Traveler was aboard a train and addressed listeners as fellow passengers, introducing 30-minute tales of the supernatural.
