Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

The story starts as Kent Brockman reports on the latest marriage of Mr Burns' niece, Victoria, and we learn that Homer once dated Victoria while also dating Marge.

The story is an obvious parody of the decades-long comic-book love triangle of Archie, Betty and Veronica. Barney wears a Jughead-style cap throughout the story and, at one point, holds up a generic "Archie" comic and refers to Homer as a "regular Archie Andrews".
Cameos include "Archie Andrews" (on the side of a road holding a Riverdale sign) and a squirrel sitting atop a moose with a sign saying Frostbite Falls (referring to Rocky and Bullwinkle)
