Notes:
This story introduces Valeris from Star Trek VI, and attempts to explain why Valeris was in that film. Such an story is important (to fans) because Valeris' sudden appearance as a member of the bridge crew, and her close relationship with Spock, make little sense given Spock's apparent relationship with Saavik in Star Trek II, III and IV.
