Appearing in this story is an ape named Kongorilla who is brought back to the jungle after a career in Hollywood films. This ape is manipulated to appear intelligent. Despite the similar name, this ape is not golden, and has no magical properties, therefore is not a precursor to the Golden Gorilla that is one half of the Congorilla transformation.
