Synopsis:
Several months after the events of the first Runaways series, the Runaways have established themselves as a superteam in Los Angeles dedicated to helping the children of evil parents. They attempt to foil the Wrecking Crew for the sake of Piledriver's son, "Excavator," but Ricky would rather stay with his father. They tussle with the Crew and leave them all unconscious for the cops.
Across town, A support group for former teenage superheroes named Excelsior begins their meeting. The people at the meeting introduce themselves and explain what their lives were like. In the middle of the meeting, however, Turbo gets a call for a mysterious benefactor who tips her off to some teenage runaways who need their help.
When the kids get back to their new lair, a time machine driven by Gertrude from the future appears. She warns them about a threat in the future by the name of Victor Mancha. She dies in the middle of the floor and they decide to find Victor before it's too late.
