Synopsis:
Finally, in the present, Spider-Man and Human Torch meet at the Statue of Liberty and talk over their past, but more particularly talk about what happened at P.S. 108 that morning.
Human Torch has been scheduled as a special guest for an assembly at the school Peter teaches at. A guest who gets no respect at all and gets upstaged by Mary Jane. Suddenly, armed terrorists pistol-whip the Torch and attempt to find Luke Towers, the son of the DA who put his son in prison. In order to leave and come back as Spider-Man, he reveals his identity to Torch through charades and the two save the day. Afterward, he demands that Spider-Man meet him at the usual place and they pick up where the issue began. Human Torch invites him and his family over for dinner at the Baxter Building and they all have a nice dinner. The story ends with a montage of photographs featuring the Parkers and Fantastic Four.
