After years without contact, Gilad is contacted by an acquantaince from the Vietnam war. His friend has taken a job with the Harbinger foundation, and needs Gilad's help. Arriving at the foundation, Gilad realizes that he has been set up and is asked by Harada for help against a sun god with power to destroy the universe itself. With the promise of his friend's memory being restored, Gilad has no choice but to help.

Takes place prior to Solar, Man of the Atom #10.

Comes bagged with the Valiant Era TPB. Cover date state '1993', however the correct date is March 1994.
