The cover price was not a cover price, but, strictly, a frontispiece price. It also was 10'6d—or slightly over half a pound. The price given above is merely a simple conversion to a decimal number.
This book is notable for its use of imagery from the first of two Dalek films made in the 1960s, thus making the Peter Cushing Doctor the only one to appear in a Dalek annual. This is also the only Dalek annual to have an image of the TARDIS in it.
Artists were not credited by story in this book. It's difficult to know precisely which artists worked on which stories, although some of the larger pieces of art have been signed. Most artwork was in fact painted, rather than drawn.
Writing responsibilities are equally mysterious. Given the body of other work, the best guess is that David Whitaker probably did most of the actual writing, with Nation being the effective editor. Though the entire book is copyrighted to Nation personally this still does not speak to who actually wrote what. He (and now his estate) owns the Daleks so Dalek stories in any medium to this day are at least partially copyrighted by his estate. Nation is not the credited editor—no one is—but in practice no Dalek stories could ever be published without his approval (or, now, that of his estate).
The date given as a "cover date" is really a publication date. This book is sometimes referred to as the "1966 Dalek Annual".
