Synopsis:
Korak and 2 Waziri, Umbezi and MN'zaki encounter Pierre Loubet, a Frenchman whose wife vanished from their camp. Loubet was on a photo safari and encountered a witch doctor and two natives previously. Korak assumes they are the kidnappers and tracks Margot to the canyon of N'Gali, the witchdoctor. N'Gali has dressed Margot as N'Kubulwana, a sky princess, and has whipped up the Wabeni tribe into a xenophobic frenzy by having Margot, under hypnosis, bless the spears. When all are asleep, Korak sneaks into N'Gali's skull-shaped lair and forces him to accompany him with Margot, still under his spell. The reunite with Paul and the two Waziri, only to discover that their escape vehicle, Paul's Land Rover, was destroyed by a rhino. Moving on, N'Gali escapes by hypnotizing the Waziri, heading for the Wabeni. Korak directs them to Haunted Tower Hill, where he manages to herd them into a leopard's den as the Wabeni close in. The den turns out to be a tunnel leading to the ruined tower. N'Gali tries to smoke them out, then attack the tunnel, but the Waziri stop him. Korak leaps from the tower into the river and swims for help. Desperate, N'Gali assaults the tower as a thunderstorm builds. Korak returns and uses a megaphone to call down doom on the Wabeni. Pierre has Margot appear as the Sky Princess and toss a spear with a flashlight attached to show her displeasure at N'Gali. Coincidentally, a lightning bolt strikes him down. The shaken Wabeni are routed when Korak and the Waziri attack from the rear. N'Gali's death breaks Margot's spell and all ends well.
