The secret behind Mon-El's return is revealed, as he and Shadow Lass travel to Colu to meet with Brainiac 5. Discovering that he is being used as a conduit for the Time Trapper, Brainiac 5 attempts to purge the Trapper from Mon-El's consciousness, until Mon-El is transported away by the Time Trapper. Revealing his grand scheme to Mon-El, the Time Trapper gives Mon-El the opportunity to finally destroy him, but it will cost the Legionnaires everything and possibly cause them to never have existed at all.
