2010-02-23 20:29:58 Darkseid Synopsis Iron Man flies to the cemetery where Kevin O'Brien is being laid to rest. Simon Gilbert and the board of directors are there, along with Marianne and Kevin's father. Gilbert tries to blame Iron Man for Kevin's death, but the other directors silence him. In the midst of the funeral, policemen arrive to arrest Iron Man for questioning in Kevin's death. Iron Man refuses and starts to fight them, earning him Gilbert and Marianne's contempt. Ashamed, Iron Man leaves. Flying through the rain, he wonders why the world needs an Iron Man. Returning to his laboratory, Iron Man recalls the friends and enemies whose lives he has affected. He looks at the display case holding his first armor and wonders if people were right to fear him when he first appeared on the scene. However, he recalls that for every life lost because of Iron Man's existence, a hundred more have been saved. Comparing himself to a soldier in a war, Iron Man vows to continue on, whatever may come.
