Astonishing X-Men (2004) #12

Contribution History:
Date User Field Old Value New Value
2009-07-14 14:42:46 Dcfan09 Synopsis This is it. The stunning conclusion to Joss Whedon and John Cassaday's year-long run on ASTONISHING X-MEN. As "Dangerous" draws to a finale readers will have to see to believe, the lives of the X-Men will NEVER be the same. Part 6 (of 6) The events of House of M happen following this issue, although it largely unaffects the story. The X-Men manage to pull together, and take out the Sentinel by releasing its memories of the Genosha attack into its now sentient mind. This, however, does not prevent them from learning that Xavier was fully aware of the Danger Room's sentience, but did nothing to aid it. They leave him behind, highly displeased, unaware that the Hellfire Club seems to have reformed and gotten its influence into Emma.
