Synopsis
|
|
The Black Widow (Natalia Natasha Romanova) and Valkyrie of Asgard are on an undercover operation as part of Commander Steve Rogers' covert ops team of Avengers. Their mission goes south and Rogers jumps in to aid the women in battle. They are victorious and recover the mysterious item they were after. But, the Beast (of the X-Men) discovers the item is not the Serpent Crown, but something similar. The team discovers the Roxxon Corp. probably got the crown from Mars, where all of their employees mysteriously vanished. Nova goes to Mars to check it out, but disappears. The rest of the team heads there to rescue him.
Back on the Avengers' ship, Sharon Carter is knocked out by Nick Fury.
