Connor Hawke and Eddie Fyers learn that Moonday Hawke has been kidnapped and are ambushed by massive gunfire.
Green Lantern Kyle Rayner notices the commotion and flies to their aid. He and Connor cooperate and disarm all of the gunmen.
Kyle learns from Connor that superpowers are not always the best mode of action in catching a bad guy.

This issue is the first meeting of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and Green Arrow Connor Hawke.
Chuck Dixon draws comparisons between the two heroes. Both grew up without knowing their fathers and both have inherited legacies.
Connor tells Kyle: "Super-powers don't make you God." This is very much the attitude that Green Arrow Oliver Queen had toward Green Lantern Hal Jordan.
