2011-12-01 05:30:13 mikebo Synopsis The Omega Men and Adam Strange find out that the mysterious struction from within the containment field is something that fires an Omega Beam, or a modified Zeta Beam meant to move large masses between galaxies and more. Ultimately it could be used as the most powerful weapon in the universe. Unfortunately for the Omega Men, the Spider Guild have found them. In order to stop the Guild from getting the weapon, Tigorr has set the reactor core to self-destruct and the Omega Men escape on their ship (including an impostor Doc). Finally, Strange discovers the destination of Rann from Artin. The two escape narrowly from the explosion and they all head for Maltus. Unfortunately, the Thanagarians have gotten to L.E.G.I.O.N. first and the group of freedom fighters are marked as criminals. However, they make a lucky break when Adam Strange tears open a hoverpod soaked in zeta radiation, occupied by Sardath, his father-in-law!
