Noobie friendly? - Uthor
As a relatively new reader to DC, I bought this hoping to get a little info on the whole Crisis situation and to maybe interest myself in picking up the series.

Too bad this issue is nothing but a riddle filled with references that a new reader won't get. It doesn't tell me anything about what's going on in the DC universe and who the major players are. Something bad is happening and it affects everyone. That is all I know.

Best best term I read is that this is a good teaser, but a bad primer. It gets fans excited, but doesn't give any info to the casual reader.
