    Reviews - Wolverine - #69

View this issue

moving forward - angeltread
So unfortunatly this is not the hairy sex romp you might have a expected outta a comic called Wolverine 69... but it is a furthering of the awesome story that is "old man logan"... really this is just all setup for more info to be divulged in later issues. but nevertheless this is still a good issue, just not as exciting as the prior parts.

the issues starts with the conclusion to cliffhanger from the last issue... and it gets wrapped up fast. i was hoping this would be where wolvie breaks his non-violence pact that hes made... but alas i suppose there is alot more story till he is made to do so.

like i said this issue is basically alot of setup... but the care put into it is magnificant... i think that this story will read excellent as a whole in one sitting.

Mcniven's art is fantabulous as usual. the inks are a bit thick and muddy up his fine lines some... but really its not too bad. the detail is mindnumbing and i always see why hes been a superstar artist for awhile now with each and every new stuff he puts out.

Millars dialog is a tad weaker here than in previous parts but still decent stuff regardless. the overall plot is moving forward nicely and i gotta say that im loving this... more than any other book out there right now. i cant wait till wolvie wolves out (you know he will).

i hope the delays are done causse i cant get enough.

bring it.
