We enjoyed this issue very much - chubbytoad
I've heard people be very critical towards this new Power Girl title and we wanted to defend it. My wife and I both loved it. We are not familiar with the artist and we didn't know that the drawing style was not consistent with previous work (this is what we heard from an online reviewer), but we found the art to be very well done, beautifully drawn and the colors to be very pleasing. My wife enjoys collecting female superheroes and is excitedly awaiting the next installment. We love the boob jokes (something my wife can really relate to) and we found nothing offensive about it. The jokes are all in good fun (think Elvira, Mistress of the Dark). Its campy and fun humor.

I really think people should read this comic for themselves and make up their own minds about how good it is or isn't. For my money, it was great. Power Girl is a fun character. The mood of her book is very different from say, Wonder Woman or Marvel's new She-hulk. The variant cover was too good too pass up. We bought two.

We read comics to relax and have fun. We don't take it so seriously. We both think this title is off to a good start and we hope it continues for a while.
