Blue Beetle as DC star! - Nawfalq
The BB character has a long comics history (Fox/Charlton comics). Finally, DC acquired the rights in the early 1980s. Thankfully! This first issue displays excellent writing (Len Wein) and a healthy respect for the character. The storyline is interesting and engaging - combining aspects of Ted Kord's double-life with an intense and mysterious villain. Also, it includes some history of the previous iteration of Blue Beetle. If you are want to dig deeper into comics (beyond Bats and Supes), Blue Beetle is a good place to start. An excellent issue.

Sweet 1986 - grayfeather
Part of the 80's relaunch, a must have for hardcore DC fans!
