Getting better ... - MartyPrime
Dial H issue 3 was better than the second issue, I think the story just got stuck there trying to wrap up issue one – but with this issue things started to really move. There are a few things that are intentionally vague … but I’m willing to stick it out for a few more issues to try and figure it out. The whole plot with this “void” is leaving me a little confused and in the cold – but I do want to see what happens to Nelson and Manteau. The art however is still not working for me – the perspectives seem way off – but it wasn’t a deal breaker and the 1980s Byrne style panes were fun. Still don’t think I would recommend this series to anyone who is new to comics but I am starting to come back around on it … let’s see what issue 4 is like (after I catch up on Batman and some other books).
