Unbelievably Beautiful - TylerDurden4321
I've got 6 Absolute Editions, but THIS one really is the BEST!
The Recoloring is done with so much love and respect for this...no... for T-H-E Crisis.
You could never catch the genius and love behind this in the normal trade or single issues.
The forword and afterthoughts also are great, after reading this, it is totally clear to me, that this was Marv Wolfman's and George Pérez's "Calling". You really must be a Superhero-supergeek-genre-lover with the knowledge that there will be only ONE such Project and if you do this right, you will always be remembered by guys with the heart in the same place as you. And he DID it right.

Compare this Edition with a hyped-money-maker that also was unlovely done such as the "Death and Return of Superman Omnibus". There are WORLDS between these two of DCs greatest stories...and I'm talking INFINITE Worlds!

The greatest Comic Book ever, though I haven't read all, but E-V-E-R ! - ! - ! ;-)

The only Minus here is that I would have wished for Character-listing for each page instead of only each chapter in the Companion Book and maybe with a tiny little background on the character. Also I found some little mistakes in the companion that probably got out a little rushed.

The Crisis Book itself though is unblemished...perfect.
