    Reviews - Preacher - TPB vol. 06

View this issue

One Man's War is the Starr of the show - Thai
This also contains one of the best Preacher one shot's ''One Man's War'' which is an orgin of sorts of Herr Starr which is a very well paced story which show's you the rise of Starr though the ranks of the Grail .....a really enjoyable tale.
The real action takes place in the main story though as Starr finally makes his move on Jesse as does The Saint Of killers.
It takes a couple of issues to set the scene for the showdown but when it comes it truly is something to behold.
It wraps up event's in Preacher TPB 3 quite nicely and you do wonder where the series will go from here,
This also contains one of my most memorable moments in the series when the armed american forces decide to take on The Saint Of Killers head on........this has to be seen to be believed!

The ending issues are a little slower in pace but pretty much any thing would after the events midway through the book, and does make you want to grab the next trade.
The last issue is truly bizzare though and I could not make head nor tale of it, answers on a postcard!!
I'm actually growing tired of Arseface a little now as I feel he's served his comedic purpose .

As normal Ennis and Dillion are a match made in heaven as they both compliment each other and no one else could handle this series other then Ennis.
