Good start to the series - Thai
This Hardcover contains two story's.
Guardian Devil by Kevin Smith & Parts of a hole by David Mack (Who is normally better known for his painting)
Of the two story's Guardian Devil is my favourite and is in fact one of the best stand alone stories I've read.
The story is very intriguing and literally makes you want to read the story from start to finish in order to unravel the next peice of the Jigsaw.
To give anything away would be criminal but rest assured this in my opinion is Kevin Smith's work by a long shot
The art is also fantastic with vibrant colours and detailed art sprawling across every page, I've always been a fab of Quesda's Art and that does nothing to differ my opinion.
That's not too say that Parts of hole is not a good story in it's own right but there were a few things I found hard to swallow, for instance why has Echo all of a sudden thrown into the limelight if Wilson Fisk has been her Guardian for years especially with the ablities she has surely he would of used her services at a much earlier stage
A slight negative on the Guardian Devil arc was that I found the person behind the plot to wipe out Dardevil a bit dissapointing and expected it to be a more major player in the Marvel universe this is only a minor gripe but nonetheless I find it Necessary to mention
Those issues a side this was a great start to the series and the great Guardian Devil shouldn't be missed by any reader
