7/10 - Uthor This is a series from 2004-2006 where DC let a single artist have 48 ad free pages and free reign of the DC characters to do whatever they wanted. The art styles vary wildly, though they are mostly great and interesting. The art is more hit or miss. Howard Chaykin was another guy who's art I didn't really care for. He seems to draw fat faces and everyone looks bloated. He does a wide variety of stories, but almost all of them end with an IRONIC TWIST, which got annoying. |
