    Reviews - Deathlok Special - #3

View this issue

Heating up nicely... - Decanus
Nick Fury continues to track Deathlok, looking to bring down Cybertek. Deathlok goes into Estrella and sides with the rebels to bring down the Roxxon-backed government; he succeeds, and then goes after Stryker. Fury intercepts him, and tells him to alow S.H.I.E.L.D to get to him afterwards. Deathlok battles his way to Stryker, but just as he is about to kill him, it is revealed Michael Collins body is still alive..
Another strong issue, the storyline developing nicely. McDuffie's grasp of Deathlok is now excellent, and he writes a decent Nick Fury, too! Deathlok's quest to get to Stryker is nicely handled, with plenty of action. Cowan's art is good, helped by the inks of Rick Magyr, suits the tone well. Strong issue.
