Bio:
X-Factor was a team sanctioned by the US government to deal with problems involving mutants. The group was created by the original five X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, and Angel) under the guise of the X-Terminators. The X-Terminators was a public front for X-Factor so that Professor Xavier's older students could find and assists mutants in need without showing that they too were mutants. Eventually the ruse was uncovered, and X-Factor was absorbed into the US government as an official mutant team designed to solve problems involving mutants. This original X-Factor group should not be confused with Jamie Madrox's private investigative firm, X-Factor Investigations.
