    Lady Liberators
Search for 'Lady Liberators' on Amazon

The original incarnation of The Lady Liberators were brought together by The Enchantress, who had disguised herself as Valkyrie and used subtle and secret spells to convince The Black Widow, The Wasp, The Scarlet Witch and Medusa to aid her in her cause to take revenge on all males after she was banished from Asgard by Odin and deserted by The Executioner. Her plan was stopped by The Scarlet Witch after The Enchantress made a slight slip of the tonuge which was enough for The Scarlet Witch to break free of her hold.

*The current incarnation of The Lady Liberators was formed by She-Hulk after she was brutally defeated by the Red Hulk. Putting together an informal gathering of friends, She-Hulk, Thundra and Valkyrie confronted the Red Hulk on top of Mount Rushmore before others that She-Hulk had called (including The Invisible Woman, Storm, Black Widow, Tigra, Hellcat and Spider-Woman) joined the fight.

*Afterwards, She-Hulk once again called together The Lady Liberators to aid the country of Marnimer after it had been devestated by earthquakes. She-Hulk, The Invisible Woman, Thundra, Valkyrie and Jazinda flew to the country of Marnimer to aid the citizens of the country. During their mission in Marnimer, The Lady Liberators were brought into conflict with The Winter Guard, sent from Russia, after Marnimer exploited it's ties with the country. After they battled, She-Hulk was able to convince their leader, The Red Guardian, to help in their relief efforts before she was summoned to meet the president of Marnimer, Darqon Par.

Most recently, The Lady Liberators came up against a powerful cosmic being known as Unum, a combination of many minions, and their energies, who served under the likes of Annihilus, the Magus and Dormammu. Unum had been created by the cosmic being known as Enmity and her sole mission was to destroy heroes, she started with female heroes. The Lady Liberators were teammed with the female members of The Guardians of the Galaxy, and ultimately, She-Hulk was able to convince Unum that Enmity was using her for her own amusement, and turned Unum against Enmity. Unum attacked Enmity, and enraged, Enmity seemingly destroyed Unum and vanished.

Note: It is currently unclear whether the Spider-Woman that joined The Lady Liberators in their battle against Red Hulk is the actual Spider-Woman, or the skrull that had been posing as Spider-Woman for sometime to aid the efforts of Secret Invasion. For the time, Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) has been added to the line-up until, when and if, the situation is fully explained.
