Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg, & Holliway is a New York law firm specializing superhuman law, cases involving the super hero and super villain community. While famous for their jury trials involving the luminaries of the Marvel Universe (including Doctor Strange, Hercules, and Spider-Man), the firm also engages in more mundane legal work (contracts, negotiations, mediations and the like) albiet with a super-human focus. The senior partners in the firm are Martin Goodman, Stanley Lieber, Jacob Kurtzberg, and Holden Holliway. Mssrs. Goodman, Lieber, and Kurtzberg are rarely seen, probably because they work with the areas of normal human law that established GLK&H's reputation as the most prestigious law firm on the East Coast. The relatively new "superhuman law" division was created by Holliway to defend his granddaughter Sasha "Southpaw" Martin (a fugitive supervillain) once she was captured by the authorities. Southpaw was briefly in the custody of the firm awaiting her trial, but escaped when Titania attacked the Excelsior apartments and Timely Plaza. Holliway is on leave while searching for Southpaw, and Arthur Zix is running the superhuman law division in his absence. GLK&H retained Jennifer Walters after her dismissal from the New York City District Attorney's office and her eviction from Avengers Mansion. Holliway specifically required that Jennifer work in human form rather than as the She-Hulk. Zix has relaxed this requirement in Holliway's absence.
