Heretic: The Templar Chronicles   (2007)
Search for 'Heretic: The Templar Chronicles' on eBay

Publisher: Markosia

Publication Date: March 2007 - Ongoing

Country: United Kingdom

Language: English

Notes:
Based on the novel Heretic by Joe Nassise, this six issue comic series from Markosia finds a modern iteration of the classic Knights Templar at odds with the strange and supernatural that exists on the edge of the public eye. Called back into service by the Vatican, the story in this book is spurred by the recent desecration of Templar cemeteries that sends a team of Templars, led by Cade Williams, to investigate. At the center of it all they find a cabal of necromancers, hell bent on finding a holy relic in the Templar remains that would provide them the power to take over. Bringing the first of the Templar Chronicles novels to the comics page is adaptation writer Chuck Satterlee and artists Bruce McCorkindale and Josh Haas
