Feature Films Magazine   (1950)
Search for 'Feature Films Magazine' on eBay

Publisher: DC Comics

Publication Date: Mar/Apr 1950 - Sep/Oct 1950

Country: United States

Language: English

Notes:
This title was the equivalent of Dell's Movie Classic which it pre-dated by six years — although it was much clearer that Feature Films Magazine was the actual title of the work than Movie Classic was the title of its issues. Unlike Dell, however, DC was never terribly successful at holding an audience for the movie adaptation genre. Its forté was much more clearly in fictionalizing film stars for use in their own original storylines. Indicia in issue #1 has the title as being simply 'Feature Films' - #2-4 have 'Feature Films Magazine'.
