Batman: Nosferatu   (1999)
Search for 'Batman: Nosferatu' on eBay

Publisher: Elseworlds (DC Comics)

Publication Date: March 1999

Country: United States

Language: English

Notes:
The second release in the Lofficier/McKeever's German Expressionism trilogy. It follows Superman's Metropolis (1996), and is followed by Wonder Woman: The Blue Amazon (2003).

Batman: Nosferatu is inspired by the silent German Expressionist films, Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

A fourth volume, The Green Light, was planned, but remains unpublished. It would have featured Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter, and would have been based upon the films, Das Blaue Licht, Weiße Rausch - Der Neue Wunder des Schneeschuhs (aka The White Flame), and Die Herrin von Atlantis (aka The Mistress of Atlantis).

One-shot.
