Das sagte Nuff!   (2005)
Search for 'Das sagte Nuff!' on eBay

Publisher: Bargeld Comic (Interessengemeinschaft Superhelden Comics OV Schwäbisch Gmünd)

Publication Date: September 2005 - May 2010

Country: Germany

Language: German

Notes:
German fanzine dealing with Marvel comics, specializing into the comic books published by Bildschriften and Williams.
The name of the fanzine goes way back to the first German Marvel comics published by Bildschriften. It's a translation of Stan Lee's phrase "'nuff said!". Back then the translator thought that "nuff" was a person, translating the phrase as "Das sagte Nuff!" which literally means "Nuff said this!" or "This was said by Nuff!" (or "As declared/said by Nuff!").

The fanzine - which layout mimics the one from the Williams publicatioons - was highly successful at first but sales went down with issue #5, a "DC Special" (Williams published 3 DC titles - Shazam!, Green Lantern and "Horror" an anthology publishing material from DC's various horror series) and it never recovered from this.
The magazine was finally laid to rest with issue #12.

The fanzine was tolerated by Panini (the license-holder for all things Marvel) but when the publisher started reprinting rare comics they couldn't turn a blind eye to thise and asked him to stop.
