Ewoks   (1985)
Search for 'Ewoks' on eBay

Publisher: Star Comics (Marvel)

Publication Date: May 1985 - July 1987

Country: United States

Language: English

Notes:
This Star Wars comic is one of the very few officially licensed by LucasFilm which does not have the words "Star Wars" anywhere on the cover. Written for young kids, it's also the comic that is perhaps least tied into the overall mythos of Star Wars.

Except...it's based on the animated series of the same name. And that was worked on by Lucas himself, so the source material is actually G-level (or highest order) canon.

Basically, then, Ewoks the comic book is a lower-order canon riff on a highest order canon source--about a little corner of the Star Wars canon that very few modern fans really care about.

Each issue had a single story, broken up into three named parts. Thus, the title of the issue is the same as the title of the first part.
