Search for 'Wonder Woman: The Blue Amazon' on eBay

Publisher: Elseworlds (DC Comics)

Publication Date: September 2003

Country: United States

Language: English

Notes:
The third release in the Lofficier/McKeever's German Expressionism trilogy. It follows Superman's Metropolis (1996), and Batman: Nosferatu (1999).

Wonder Woman: The Blue Amazon is inspired by the silent German Expressionist films, The Blue Angel and Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler.

A fourth volume, The Green Light, was planned, but remains unpublished. It would have featured Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter, and would have been based upon the films, Das Blaue Licht, Weiße Rausch - Der Neue Wunder des Schneeschuhs (aka The White Flame), and Die Herrin von Atlantis (aka The Mistress of Atlantis).
