Not to be confused with the later Russ Cochran reprint series (1991-92), or the even later Cochran/Gemstone series (1992-99). Each issue of this series reprinted a random issue of The Vault of Horror (1950), and one to two random issues of other EC series. The 1991 Cochran series had a similar format, but only ever reprinted one other issue in addition to The Vault of Horror reprint in each issue. The 1992 Cochran/Gemstone series reprinted The Vault of Horror (1950) consecutively with a 1:1 issue ratio for 29 issues.
